Description: | Plant material for RNA extraction was collected 6 days after transferring Arabidopsis thaliana root segments to shoot induction medium. Root explants from several hundred seedlings for each of 30 recombinant inbred lines (RIL) were pooled for RNA extraction (resulting in one CEL file for each RIL). RNA extraction and hybridization to Affymetrix ATH1 oligonucleotide arrays were carried out as described in CHE et al. (2002) except, GeneChip Scanner 3000 was used for scanning the chips and the image data generated from the scans was converted to numerical data using GeneChip Operating System v 1.0. | ||||||||||
